Debra A. Saltz, Esq.

With broad experience in Maryland and the District of Columbia courts, Debra Saltz has over 22 years of experience in criminal defense and civil litigation. Before forming the Law Offices of Debra A. Saltz, LLC, Debra served as an Assistant Public Defender for Baltimore County and also as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Howard County. She has spent several years in private practice handling criminal and civil cases.

Debra Saltz graduated from Simmons College in Boston and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore. After graduating from law school, Debra Saltz clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge Joseph F. Murphy, Jr. on the Court of Special Appeals. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar and several local bar associations.

Debra is an avid runner and triathlete. She has completed two Ironman triathlons as well as several shorter distance triathlons. Debra has run a marathon (26.2 miles) in every state. She completed this goal in August, 2018 in Alaska. In her free time, she volunteers for local organizations, and enjoys reading, kayaking, and hiking.
